Better Than Southland Sushi
How good is this place!! Yes its basic but your in a remote spot on the NZ coast with hot showers, flushing loos, cooking facilities, the ocean , beautiful walks, opportunities to kickback or get amongst some outdoor adventures. We struck it incredibly lucky with the weather and gathering great family memories. Johan and Joyce on The Wairaurahiri Jet definitely kick started this great time.

We stayed three nights at the lodge.
It is a lovely spot in the bush away from everything.
A family staying at the same time used the gas oven for chocolate brownies!
On Christmas day we hiked out to Angus Burn for lunch.
Alan was a lovely host and was great at sharing his local knowledge.
We enjoyed Jess sharing some of our walks.
Many thanks to Alan for checking we got to Port Craig Hut ok.
We will be back!
